I'm Brendan Haney,
A driven and self-taught programmer with several years of experience in Unix based environments. I'm Currently a student studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
My Skillset
Software
I am primarily a C, C++, and Java programmer, however I am also familiar with Python, Javascript, PHP and Rust. I have about two and a half years of experience programming, most of which was either for study, experimentation, or an unfinished project. The few projects that I consider presentable can be found on my Portfolio page.
Technical / IT
I have been using Linux as my operating system for over three years now. I am deeply familiar with all things Linux maintainence, troubleshooting, installation, shell usage, and security. This includes both desktop and serverside. I also have a Cybersecurity Certification from Google.
Hardware and Electronics
Recently, I decided to shift my focus and career toward hardware. Currently, I am studying anything and everything electronics. This section will be updated as soon as I consider myself competent enough at any specifc skillset relating to electronics.
